Introduction
Titeflex has more than 85 years of experience in the
design, development, and manufacture of Convoluted
PTFE innerliner. We continue our efforts
to achieve the
higher bend radius and higher negative pressures,
than currently obtainable with extruded PTFE hose designs.
Product Characteristics
Titeflex "400" Series Convoluted PTFE hose product,
wich was introduced in 1959, offers the following advantages
over extruded PTFE or Rubber hose products :
• Exceptional Flexibility. Smaller bend
radius than smooth bore PTFE.
• Force to bend at 50% of extruded smooth bore PTFE of the same size.
• Zero fluid absorption and permeation.
•
Compatible with Jet Fuels, Hydraulic Fluids, Engine Oils, and Coolants.
•
Available in 1/4 inch to 4 inch inside diameter sizes.
•
Available with Stailess Steel or Nomex non-metallic braid.
• Available with Non-Conductive or Electrostatic Dissipation Conductive
innerliner.
Applications
Titeflex Convoluted PTFE hose assemblies are designed
for a variety of fluid and pneumatic systems where
steady state pressure is applicable.
